Custom Connect appoints Jochem In ’t Velt as CFO

Custom Connect has created the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to strengthen the financial dimension of Custom Connect’s business strategy. Jochem in ’t Velt was appointed to fill this role. The appointment took effect on 1 January 2015.

In ‘t Velt (40) earned recognition in the financial world, amongst other, as an investor with AAC Capital Partners. He graduated in Industrial Engineering & Management at the University of Twente.

During his investment activities he had much involvement in growth strategies. “I have learned in detail how companies can grow in a controlled manner. Yet as investor one stands on the sidelines. Eventually I felt the ambition of running a company hands-on. Custom Connect provides plenty of space for this.”

Van In ’t Velt’s most important mission is to help Custom Connect grow in a sustainable way. “The company has an interesting and scalable business model with an enormous potential for growth. We want to maintain and even accelerate this double figure growth. But growth is not in itself the main objective. What ultimately remains is the bottom line. This means continuing to keep an eye on the client portfolio, gross margins and costs.”

Olav van Doorn, CEO of Custom Connect: “The arrival of a heavyweight like Jochem is a significant strengthening of the Management Team. It becomes easier to further promote our company strategy, also internationally.” Besides Van Doorn and In’t Velt the Custom Connect Management Team comprises of Jan Willem Meijer (co-founder and Global Sales Director), Dennis Warnar (Sales Director), Tony Kingsnorth (Sales Director) and Rutger Bevaart (Chief Technology Officer).
